Mahanidhi Swami
After Uddhava brought Krishna’s words, sandesh, from Mathura, Lalita-sakhi, on Radhaji’s behalf, sent a return message to Krishna via a beautiful white swan. Sri Rupa Goswamipada recounts both messages in two small dramas, Uddhava Sandesh and Hamsaduta.
Regarding Sri Krishna’s avatara of Nrsimha Bhagavan, Lalita-sakhi told the swan to carry the following message to Mathura.
Lalita-sakhi said, “Listen Hamsa, just tell Krishna this: O Shyama, Your lila as half man half lion is long gone. Yet, still You maintain the mood of Nrsimhadeva. You favored Prahladaji, yet at the same time You cruelly ripped open his Papa’s heart. Again You are displaying the same behavior of favoring one, Akrura, while tearing open our hearts and leaving us in such a heartless way.’” (Hamsadutta 131)
Sri Krishna viraha bhava ki jai! Nrsimhadeva ki jai! Jai Jai Sri Radhe!
